NEET UG 2026 Test Takers – Know How To Secure Your Rank
After the 12th boards, it will be all about NEET UG. Exam after exam – anxiety upgraded to premium mode! And not to forget each exam has its own rules and regulations. Continuously appearing in exams can mix up the exam criteria – No wonder performance pressure invites blunders. Even when exam instructions are disobeyed inadvertently, it might risk your career. Here are Do’s and Don’ts of NEET UG 2026.
Mark 03 May 2026 (Sunday) in your calendar with a glitter pen as it will be the career-defining day for all medical aspirants. It is the official date of examination of National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test UG declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Speaking of exam time, guard 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST) like gold treasure as it’s your performance slot.
1. Worship NCERT: If NCERT says it, NEET asks it. Chant NCERT.
2. Perform PYQs Ritual: Previous Year Questions tell patterns. Patterns don’t lie. Solve them.
3. Dissect Mock Test Results: Analyse mock performance. Know – what worked, what flopped. Correct it. Improve.
4. Weekly Cognitive Check-up: Regular revision preserves gained knowledge. Don’t wait for the syllabus to get over.
5. Cure Weak Topics: Keep weak topics in ICU before admitting new ones because wrong answers carry negative marking.
6. Apply Sleep Serum: Proper rest keeps the mind functioning. Healthy minds improve performance.
7. No Delay: Reporting time is 11 a.m., whereas the last entry time is 1:30 p.m. No exemption for lateness.
8. No Exam Without: Admit card with passport-size photograph affixed on it 1 passport-size photo with white background valid original identity proof PwD Certificate (if applicable) 1 postcard size (4”X6”) color photograph with white background pasted on the Proforma downloaded with the Admit Card.
9. Leave Them At Home: Text material; electronic communication devices like mobile; clothing accessories including all types of watches and jewelry; food; water.
10. Follow Dress Code: Do not wear heavy clothes, long sleeves. Wear slippers or low-heeled sandals.
11. Cultural Dressing: Candidates wearing articles or objects of faith must report at least two hours before the last reporting time; whereas candidates opting for cultural/ customary dress at the exam centre must report at least an hour before the last reporting time.
12. Emergency: For unavoidable situations, NTA approval must be obtained before Admit Card issuance.
