University Of Dhaka

The University of Dhaka was established in July 1921 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The university’s main goal was to create new areas of knowledge and to help society. Many scholars work as faculty members at the University of Dhaka, contributing significantly to the global pool of knowledge through teaching and research. The university has 83 departments, 13 faculties, 12 institutes, 20 residential halls, 56 research centres, and 3 hostels, as well as 37017 students and 1992 faculty members. The University of Dhaka has graduated 1262 PhD and 1217 M.Phil. researchers. The University of Dhaka is committed to providing advanced education and to promoting research. Every year, it provides fully furnished accommodation and other infrastructure facilities, new plans and opportunities, updated course curriculum, new research projects, and international programs. This university currently has 39,496 students enrolled and is taught by nearly 1999 teachers. The University of Dhaka is committed to the advancement of learning and research in all fields of knowledge. Every year, new research projects are launched. 

Six faculties publish six half-yearly English journals and one ten-monthly Bengali journal regularly. Individual departments publish ten more research journals. MBBS Course Duration

The MBBS program lasts five years, followed by a one-year logbook-based rotatory internship (clerkship) for international students. After passing the FMGE/NeXT (MCI/NMC Screening Test), Indian doctors choose a one-year internship or clerkship in India.
