Lodz is a city in central Poland that was once a textile manufacturing centre. Its Central Museum of Textiles exhibits 19th-century textile machinery, fabrics, and handicrafts. The restored Manufaktura complex, once a factory, is now a vibrant cultural and arts centre. Lodz’s higher education system is comprised of 20 universities that offer 255 study programs. In addition, 128 bachelor’s programs are offered at 19 universities, 91 master’s programs are offered at 18 universities, and 36 PhD programs are offered at 5 universities. When compared to the quality of education provided, studying in Lodz, Poland, is relatively inexpensive, and it is a fantastic opportunity to meet other international students. The high quality of instruction and modern programs of study offered in Polish, English, and French, as well as adaptability to changing labour market demands, drive interest in studying at the University of Lodz. The University views international cooperation as a means of advancing its development and carrying on the city’s tradition.
