Fellowship of college of Physicians & Surgeon (FCPS)

FCPS is an abbreviation for Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons. The College of Physicians and Surgeons in Mumbai, India, offers this medical certification. Admission process of FCPS Medicine

According to the new guidelines, admission would be based only on NEET test scores. Admission notices will be posted on the CPS and FCPS websites.
The CPS/FCPS Admission System is a state-wide centralised online admission system. DMER Mumbai is the exclusive body in charge of online CPS admission.

Eligibility Criteria for FCPS Medicine

  • A candidate who has completed the final M.B.B.S. or equivalent test from a Medical Council of India-accredited medical college.
  • a candidate who has completed a one-year mandatory internship by The University Internship Completion Certificate is required.
  • A candidate who has taken the NEET-PG exam should be aware, however, that only NEET-eligible applicants will be considered for admission in the early stages of central counselling. If seats remain unfilled, the decision on admitting ineligible candidates or lowering the NEET score for eligibility will be made in accordance with the orders of the central government or the respective state government.
  • At the time of joining, a candidate must have a permanent registration certificate from the State Medical Council of the particular state.
  • The “Foreign Medical Graduates” must have passed the qualifying exam or eligibility examination administered by the NBE in New Delhi.
  • In addition to the aforementioned requirements, an applicant seeking a PG seat in Maharashtra at an establishment run by the government, corporation, or other local body must have completed MBBS from any institution or university in Maharashtra. Candidates who have completed their MBBS outside of Maharashtra are ineligible for admission to government, corporation, or local body-run institutions in Maharashtra (aided institutions).
